The Darwin to Ambon Yacht Race & Rally is an annual event under the umbrella of the Sister City Program between Ambon City and Darwin City. The event is supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Culture & Tourism and the Ambon City Government, together with the Dinah Beach Cruising Yacht Association Incorporated, the Northern Territory Government and the Darwin City Council.

The Darwin to Ambon Yacht Race & Rally committee, on behalf of all our participating skippers and crew, would like to sincerely thank all sponsors for their generous support and donations.

Darwin to Ambon Yacht Race & Rally is organised by Dinah Beach Cruising Yacht Association Inc:

Situated on the banks of Sadgroves Creek just 1km from Darwin CBD, DBCYA is a unique and friendly club. From humble beginnings in 1982, the club now boasts a membership of over 1000 and offers excellent facilities to both local yacht owners and visiting boats.

Our 9 race wet season series now has 5 divisions to satisfy an increasing number of yachts that wish to take part in the excitement of racing on Darwin Harbour during the wet season tropical storms.

Throughout the year, the club offers a wide range of land based entertainment. Live music, quiz nights, theme occasions and auctions to name a few.
