Why are you entering the Darwin to Ambon Yacht Race & Rally?
IRC racing.

Have you been to Indonesia before?
Yes, Ambon 1993, Jakarta, Bali and Pulau Batam.

How many crew do you have?
Five.

Have you sailed together before?   Have you ever raced together before?
Yes, for 2 years, including the Darwin to Dili 2010.

Are any of your crew new to sailing?
No.

How would you describe your boat, racer, cruiser or live-aboard home?
Racing.

How are your watches structured?
3 hours ON – 3 hours OFF.

What do you have in the pantry?
Frozen curries, pita bread and canned tuna, and a chicken tied to the mast.

What do you have for treats for when you become becalmed, or after a big squall?
RUM

What is your next port of call after Ambon?
Banda and Babar.

 

Raucous Skipper Bob Coleman received the Commodore’s Trophy for the Best Dressed Yacht. The Trophy is sponsored by the Dinah Beach Cruising Yacht Association and presented by the Commodore Mr Barrie Morgan.
