Some boats have started to send entry details through. There are now only 4 weeks left until entries close so don’t leave it to the last minute. If you are unsure of anything in this process please feel free to contact us and we will help you out.
REMEMBER if you participated in the 2015 race, once you have logged in and created a new account, send an email and we will arrange to have your 2015 data transferred across to save re-entering the information.
Flights
Hardy Aviation will be running a direct charter flight in & out of Ambon. The flight will be leaving Ambon on Sunday 21st August. At this stage we are unsure of when the flight in arrives in Ambon. If any of your crew members are wanting to book flights please get them to email the below address with their requirements.
School Gift Program
We are arranging donations for the schools in Amahusu.
If you have things such as sporting equipment, kids’ books (for learning English), pens, pencils etc. or anything else the schools might find useful please let us know. If you are willing to help by transporting some of these items please also let us know so we can allocate items to your vessel.
Homestays
For crew wanting to stay on land in Ambon the Amahusu Yacht Club has put together a number of people offering homestays as alternative accommodation with the locals in Amahusu. These are free of charge as the locals just want to build relationships with the yachties. If this interests you or your crew please let us know and we will put you in touch.
Visas
1. Australia is part of the Visa Free Short Stays list. These are valid for 30 days.
2. For countries that require a visa. Ambon seaport is now able to process Visa on Arrival. These are also valid for 30 days.
3. If you are planning on being in Indonesia for more than 30 days. Social & Cultural Visas are valid for 60 days. They can be arranged through the Indonesian Consul in Darwin.

A list of all required documentation (including receipt of payment of entry fees) is available on the main entry page. Please ensure your files are named correctly so that they cannot be muddled up with other vessels.
